Dear Chai4ever,
I got back from my vacation today and I wanted to express my sincerest heartfelt appreciation while the memories are still most fresh.
It’s been a very difficult year as you know. An uphill battle every step of the way. But you have been a ray of sunshine in this most difficult journey. Your suppers and the big sis and all the little things have been gentle reminders of care and encouragement.
And yet there are times when the difficulties come in such heavywaves that it threatens to engulf everything.
The past few weeks have been very very overwhelming indeed.
And then-
This vacation. I can’t explain fully what it did for me. But I’ll try.
The beautiful room with the spectacular view. The gift basket. The restaurant gift card. Even the weather!! (How did you pull off that ?!?!)
All of it woven together to create a small slice of paradise to give me a chance to recoup so that i can continue to persevere in the coming difficult weeks.
